Our bodies communicate daily; how often do you stop listening to what yours tells you?

This week I chat with Beth Manning, A Master Psychic Healer and Medical Intuitive, about how we can all become more aware of how our bodies speak to us.

We chat about why this matters when we live in a society that "treats" medical issues, and she shares her personal journey to healing with us.

Beth gives us a few tips and tricks so we can all learn to listen to our bodies and she talks to us about why healing all our trauma is vitally important in order to heal generations.

We share a few personal stories and discuss how breathwork has changed our lives.

Research is starting to show that our gut health plays a large role in our overall health, mental health and happiness.

This week on the podcast, I chat with Gut Health Expert and Nutritionist Donna Monthei about why our gut health matters and why so many of us may need to take a look at what our gut health really is.

Western medicine tends to treat the symptoms of gut health without a  focus on what is causing the issue or how to increase the good bacteria in our guts in order to avoid problems going forward. Donna focuses on helping people to avoid problems rather than deal with symptoms they may be thinking are 'normal' for them and their health.

Donna shares with us some things we should all be doing to increase our overall gut health and shares her personal story of what led her to this career path.

How do we change the world around us to be kinder?

We start by changing ourselves. We start by showing those around us an example of what we want the world to be. This is why it is so important for us all to give a damn about the world and not just our personal world.

This week on the podcast Mark shares with me why he wrote his book "Give A Damn" to help us all learn the importance of giving a damn about our communities, our workplaces and our lives.

We chat about how simple things like caring about others can lead to more joy and more pleasure in your own life. Why we should all look at how we can give back and support our hopes and dreams by supporting others.

With years of experience working for companies like IBM Mark has seen a lot of change in the business world and shares his insights as an entrepreneur and why his hope is to turn Giving A Damn into a movement.

Health isn't one-sided. There are so many complex things that go into overall health from hormone levels to the food we eat and the things we drink, it can be overwhelming. So this week on podcast I talk to Stephanie Shaw, Certified nutrition strategist about this.

Stephanie chats with me about her own personal health journey and what led her down this path. She shares a few things we can all start to do to improve her health. We talk about how complex overall health really is, and the importance of actually enjoying food and having it be a pleasurable experience.

We talk about living in this world of diet culture and how most of us have gotten to a point where we no longer enjoy any aspect of food because of the guilt, because of counting calories, and Stephanie shares with us how we can start to change our mindset around food as well as overall health so that we can get back to a place of pleasure with our food and our lives and our health.

How do we live our lives well when we often face things out of our control?

Sometimes things that are related to our health hit us with the unexpected bad news that we left to cope with without a guidebook to help us through it all.

This week I chat with Dr. Kevin Payne about all of this and more. He shares with me how his diagnosis of MS in his young adulthood changed his life. He shares how the struggle of that journey has impacted his career and his life choices.

We talk about why he started skydiving and how instrumental that life choice has been for him in creating a life lived well for himself.

He tells me why he started "Your life lived well" and what impact he is hoping it has on the world.

We talk about what stress really is and how it relates to our fear and why you can't actually avoid stress so we all should be aiming toward a life where we reframe what stress actually is.

Life can be a struggle for everyone, even those who you think have perfect lives.

This week Angela shares why she found it therapeutic to write her story. She shares why she decided ultimately to share that story with the world and chats with me about how other people's expectations of the perfect life she was living helped her to see that everyone struggles with a lot of the same issues.

We chat about how living in the social media world has given us the idea that people have perfect lives without actually understanding what's going on behind closed doors for most people.

Angela shares her ideas on living vicariously through yourself and what that means to her. She tells me why we all should be living this way and embracing as much of our authentic selves as we can.

We talk about how change inspires others and shows us things about ourselves we may not have seen before.

Angela shares her book, her passion and her love of life with us this week in an amazing conversation about life.

This week on the podcast I'm joined by Katherine from Katalyst Coaching and we chat about how building trust within ourselves as women is such an important part of our personal growth.

She shares how building that trust in our intuition is like any other exercise, it's something we need to keep practicing until we have the muscle built up. Until it becomes natural for us to trust it. So many women simply have learned through the world to not trust their intuition to guide them in life so having to unlearn and relearn how to do this as an adult is vital in our lives.

Katherine shares why she started her podcast (My Dead Dragon) as a way to help women share their stories of transforming their own lives because they realized no one else was coming to save them or change their lives so they had to stand up for themselves.

We talk about how hard it is to navigate the process of change and just how transformative it can be, not just to your life, but to the lives of everyone around you as well.

Do you know your net worth?

Can you tell me what you have in savings and investments?

Financial literacy is something women haven't typically been allowed to be curious about but Liz Sowers is helping to change that.

She joins me today to chat about how we as women can educate ourselves in baby steps about finances (even if we don't plan on taking over the household finances) so that if heaven forbid something happens one day, when we need to understand it all, we have the knowledge.

She shares a few tips and tricks to make it easy for us all to understand and has a few suggestions on how we can all start to get a better understanding of where we sit currently in our financial situations.

Liz explains why we don't have to know everything but why it's important to take the time to learn the things that matter to us each individually.
